<p>No School? No Problem!</p> <p> </p> <p>Trying to balance homeschooling and work? Need your kids to have some structure and routine? We are offering a safe and fun solution. Beginning August 10th, 2020 we will be offering AZ Ice Academy for grades K- 8th. We will be limiting capacity to create a safe and fun virtual learning environment. Our AZ Ice Adult supportive staff (see credentials below) will be available to assist individuals with their online curriculum. Our schedule will include a combination of dedicated work time with fun breaks on the ice.</p> <p> </p> <p>How it works:</p> <p>Register through your DASH account (opening soon). Bring your kids to AZ Ice-Peoria and have the peace of mind to get your work done, while our team guides them through their school work and school virtual meetings,</p> <p> </p> <p>While each grade and student will look different, we will have structured learning time, lunch time (provided by you), and the best recess ever! At the end of each day you will get a report of what your child accomplished that day.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will provide the technology (laptop, I-pad, etc.), as well as a charging cord and headphones or earbuds for the device.</p> <p>You need to let us know which district, school, and grade your child is in. You must also provide us with your child’s school’s curriculum/schedule!</p> <p>Lunch must be provided by you and your child will always be required to wear a mask in the building (except while on ice).</p> <p> </p> <p>Your child will work independently at their own work station, using their device and our WIFI, to get their school work completed.</p> <p> </p> <p>Rest assured that we will follow all of the CDC guidelines including: temperature checks mask required, spacing of all desks and work areas and vigilant cleaning standards.</p> <p> </p> <p>Limited Space available-Registration opens Tuesday, August 4th.</p> <p> </p> <p>August 10th - October ....</p> <p>8am Drop-Off – 3pm Pick-Up</p> <p>(After Care available for $10.00 per additional hour)</p> <p>Grades: K-8th</p> <p>$65 per day</p> <p>$275 per week</p>
- 1 private ice session dedicated to all participants.
- <strong><em>Price includes any Stick time or Freestyle times between 8:00am-3:00pm </em></strong>
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary education
- Masters in special education.
- Special director and teacher for 19 years.
- Elementary Reading support specialists
- 18 years of classroom experience in math and social studies
- Master's degree in Secondary Education
- Az Dept. education certified
