All scouts participating in the swimming and lifesaving merit badges need to be strong swimmers in order to complete the merit badge. Each scout needs a swim suit and towel. Goggles are optional.
All scouts participating in the climbing merit badges must come in short or pants and wear closed toed shoes. The climbing merit badge requires participants to come both weeks within the month it is held to pass off the merit badge.
Scouts should bring their own blue cards to sign-off with their name and information previously filled out.
