RENTAL SKATES: Rental Skates ARE included in your registration cost. At the moment, we do NOT have hockey skates available. We are working on getting our hockey skates ready to be used. All participants will be using our recreational skates. We typically recommend all skaters begin in these skates. BASIC 1 Class - Ages 6-12 Basic 1 is an introductory class for skaters ages 6-12. NO skating experience is necessary. Skaters will learn the all of the basics starting with how to fall down and stand up by themselves all the way through swizzles and backward skating. CLASS STRUCTURE Each week, the skaters will have 30 minutes of instructional lesson time, followed by 30 minutes of supervised practice time (coaches will remain on the ice during practice time). CLASS DATES This session runs for 7 weeks every Saturday starting November 7 with the final class on December 19. Class runs from 11:15a-12:15p each week. MAKEUP CLASSES At this time, we do not offer makeup classes. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Wear warm clothing such as sweatshirts, sweatpants, gloves, and a jacket. Helmets are recommended but not mandatory.
