With roots in math and reading comprehension, chess remains the most mind-enriching sport known to man. New themes are introduced every season and regardless of experience, students will have a fun time learning about chess theory and applying weekly topics to their chess matches. The lessons they learn will strengthen and enhance math and critical thinking skills, forge healthy friendships, and provide a sense of defined purpose amongst our chess club members.
